Simple food reasonably priced.
We hadn't been to the West End Tavern for ages, but chose to go on a quiet Tuesday night. We had a lovely time, the staff were so friendly. We even took our dog who was treated to a bowl of snacks and water. The food was basic pub grub, but well cooked and not pretentious at all. It was well priced unlike so many other establishments we have been to recently. And the beer was well kept, Timothy Taylors. The wine was excellent and again reasonably priced. We'll be back.

Such a great place for families
We thought we would come out as a family as we dont do it as much as we should. The welcoming we got was outstanding so smiley faces and welcoming staff. It was a nice day so we sat outside in the huge garden which was lovely. The food was amazing and i much say all plates where clean. We have recommended to all friends and family and i must say the landlady was so friendly and officiant. We will definitely be coming back to this place.

We had an excellent meal, cooked by Chef Sam, the fish was so tasty, with an incredible dressing. Really enjoyed the selection of desserts and felt totally spoilt. Amazing service from all the staff, they really do look after you. Will certainly be back!

BBQ was great!
We went for the BBQ evenings the new owners have started doing and we’re very impressed! We tried the burgers, hot dogs and halloumi burger and couldn’t fault it. The perfect way to spend a sunny Saturday evening with friends with a great atmosphere in the garden
